Learn about best practices to make your own vanilla extract, different species and origins of beans, necessary equipment, different alcohol bases, sources. Learn about other culinary items you can create with vanilla beans, and sample different extracts in whipped cream. Samples of baked goods with homemade vanilla extract will be included. Info sheet and label included. You will take home a pint jar with the start of a vanilla extract (2 oz of beans and 8 oz of alcohol).
